MADHYA PRADESH AND CHATTISGARH
History
On 14th July –
AICUF was started in Indore (St. Francis Unit) by Fr. Colaco
(Delhi/North India
AICUF Chaplain).
“For a few years, it worked
well…but slowly it lost its vigour… a group of English
speaking students. So
the number of local students decreased. For the six years the
Hindi
speaking students could not take part fully. In 1978, an AICUF Hindi Unit
was started. Most of the students were from rural areas and also the Chaplain.
‘A
News Letter of Indore Unit of AICUF was also published” – Tarachand,
Secretary,
Hindi Unit, AICUF Indore.
