JHARKAND

History

The creation of a new state for the Tribals of Jharkhand was envisaged for the well being of the Tribal people of the state. Promises were made for the all round development of the state. But after three years, with every day passing. The dreams of the Tribals in the state become bleaker and bleaker.

The effect of Globalisation and Liberalisation have put the Tribals in the margin. Communalisation and Criminalization of the civic society have left the Tribal people helpless and hopeless. The Domicile policy of the government to give preference to the local people in government jobs is still awaited. The growing menace of MCC naxalites is the effect of unemployment and government apathy in rural areas.
