DOCUMENTATION CENTRE

History

AICUF National Documentation Centre was started in the year 1972 by Fr. Paul de la Gueriviere and a group of student leaders at the National Secretariat, Chennai. As a first step of improvement since 1989 articles on our AICUF thrust areas have been indexed from Journals, Magazines and Newsletters, which are kept in bound volumes. The Documentation Reprint Service was launched in 1990 to enable our movement people to know the sources of current issue based information.

We have preserved some of our Rally issues in CD and are planning to continue. Files of all National level AICUF programmes are preserved in the DC for further references of the users. The DC also maintains Newspaper clippings of news items specifically on AICUF activities.

AICUF Student News

Our DC has regularized the publication of the student Newsmagazine as a supplement to "The Rally". The underlying philosophy of the AICUF student news is to carry the pedagogy employed and the pedagogy to be derived to the student community for which the ever young movement AICUF  is existing for more than eighty years.
